Clock In Ae92 Corolla

Hi Everyone,

 

I have a 1993 AE92 Corolla Sedan SE Limited.

 

it didnt come with a factory clock, but i sourced one, now because the dash harness is different to the one that the CSX models come with i was wondering how to make the connection, has anybody done this mod before?? because i would hate to make a direct connection to the battery, there has to be a way where i can connect it.

 

i have tought of ways where i can run the connection off the cigarrette lighter however this would mean the clock would only work when the car is on meaning that when turned off the clock would remain where it stopped.

 

how can i make a connection where the clock continues to run so that when i turn the car on again the clock displays the right time.

Are you sure its different? I don't think it is... There should be a plug in there...
