4k - Harmonic Balancer

[4k trike]

I'm supercharging my 4k engine. There is no harmonic balancer on it

planning on revving it to 7000 rpm

so you've got no pulley at all, or you want a balancer.

 

I've seen plenty of corolla's with balancers, usually 2 belt ones although you might not notice at first, they're a 2 piece item with an intermediate rubber section. Take a closer look.

 

The earlier single belt pulleys I think might be solid, off the K and 2K's etc.

mines a twin pulley 4k and solid?

 

i reckon if you get everything balanced (from balancer to flywheel) you should be set

its a 4k single pulley. All solid steel its got no rubber that i can see

All I'm saying is that you need to look pretty damn close to notice it. I'll dredge one out and get a pic.

All the 3k and 4k one's ive come across have been solid. all though they have been drilled to balance.

 

5K's DO have a proper harmonic balancer (2 piece with intermediate rubber) 7K's are more than likey the same deal.
