  1. cheers trev bit slow on reply computer done a left hand spigot bearing harddrive adapter

  2. there are no stupid questions yep its hooked up its only conected to the rear inlet manifold pipe (# 4 cyl) when valves are shut and cylinder is combusting air will build up pressure in manifold runner pipe then valve opens and pressure drops would this affect the psi ? ive got a feeling that the 2nd gasket i blew was because i ran over a stick and boost/vac come of (maybe) i dident get any other paperwork with msd unit other than the above download and a 1 page addendum for the btm model steps 12&3 mounting step 4 conect 1/8 tube to msd spigot and route to a port on intake manifold cheers

  6. has anyone had anything to do with msd 6 btm ignitions I'm having trouble with my blown 4k blowing head gaskets thanks
  7. msd has a dial witch provides variable timing retard in relation to the amount of boost occering ranges from 0deg to 3 deg per pound of boost eg knob at 2deg times max boost 6 pounds boost = 12 deg ill try to scan a copy or i got a manual via msd wedsite
  8. re dizzy its either vac or adv not sure witch one it has 2 vac tank/hoses coming from it (2stage retard?????)
  9. thanks guys $55 grapite ? gasket from autobarn couldent get genuine one in time will get one next time timing was about 22 deg at idle what is base timing ? the vacum retard/advance hoses on the dizzyare blocked i think the msd unit (msd 6 btm) should retard /advance the spark itself (don't quote me) the msd has a 1/8 vacum hose from it to the manifold at the monemt ive got vac hose on the rear inlet pipeof the manifold (its not providing vacum regular) i think i should have it on main blower pipe? should i get the dizzy locked some1 told me this idont understand it much apreciate it :)
  10. finally got some pics up just blown the 3rd head gasket having trouble with the timing it seems to be advancing 8-10deg over 3000 rpm i think the msd unit should retard it it mite be time to find an expert ($$$ permiting)
  11. got new ed gasket fitted extractors are on tuned up going great responsive on the throttle sounds sweet pics/vid soon
