Side drafts are the only way to go!! more power, more torque and if tuned right aren't hurry on fuel.

The air doesn't have to turn corners in the manifold like a downdraft, just don't go too large with the venturi size, around 32 - 34mm is good for a 5k.

And the sweet, sweet sound that only comes from multiple throttles.

Once you've had them you'll never go back.

They are easy to setup too.

Dellortto's are better for throttle response and torque, but the Weber is better for an all out RACE ENGINE!!!

I had twin 32/36 dgv's on my 5k and now I have twin 40dcoe webers and they are much more better in every way. more power and torque, just got to make sure you get them dyno tuned to get the best performance from them. They might be a bit expensive to get setup, but they are worth it in the long run. The downdraughts don't flow as well, because the fuel and air has to go down and then along and into the engine. Where as sidedraughts just squirt fuel and air straight into the engine. :P
