AXTX Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 Hey guys, Just woundering what the problem could be with my gearbox - its a ae71 with a 4ac and t50 gearbox? I was about give it abit of stick up a hill (hate hill starts anyways...) anyways i revved to about 3k and slowly let the clutch out... that was all good untill i went to go into 2nd, I put the clutch in, shifted into 2nd and let go of the clutch... then my car free revved - it was no longer in 'gear' ... so i rolled to a stop. i then tried to put it back into 1st to take off and nothing... so i tried all gears and nothing... so i then i though, stuff it! i wont use the clutch... and put it into first, no crunching, just slipped in and it seems like the car wont 'engage...' I checked to see if the clutch still had fluid, it does.. So what could be the problem? gearbox mashed? clutch f@$ked? any suggests what to look at ? Quote
