Rear Seats In A Ke20

Stripping the interior today, and i have no idea how the rear seat comes out. i have the bottom half off. but can't work out the back piece.

 

I looked through the boot to were i thought a bolt or clip went through but couldn't see anything.. Do they slide up ?

i want to check before i pressure it so i don't break it.

Ideas?

once you have undone the bolts in the lower corners the seat back should slide up with some encouragement. They are usually pretty tight and take some hitting.

Thanks ill give it a go... I'm surprised how easy the rest of the interior comes out, nothing to it.. Only a few bolts here and there.. a screw or two and she is Stripped. So basic, I am loving these cars more and more.

i took mine off just to see how they come off again and you have to push and pull up on the top side of the back seat as its being held in a hook type locator?

Yep, as Coln72 said once you have the bottom bolts out they will.

I remember I had some trouble working this out when I took out mine a little while back !

yeah Two bolts then Slides up, The bracket was bent so i didn't have to push them back or anything they just fell out. :D can't wait to redo it all.
