When wheel nuts are loose, in general they only rattle when you are costing, once you accellerate of brake they lock against the studs and don't really move or make noise any more. Been there, done that. My mates Cordia had a front wheel with one nut left about 2 turns on when we finally convinced him to have a look at it. He was about to hit the highway too. Scary stuff. Quote
