5k Dizzy Vac Advance Unit, Interchangable?

Hi, I have a electronic 5k distributor in my 4k ke20 corolla, it has a buggered vacuum advance diaphragm, I'm wondering if anyone knows, are they interchangable with a vac advance unit from a 3k nippondenso dizzy?

the 5k electronic dissy has 2 stage vac advance (from what taz_rx tells me)

 

try swap them over and report back with findings
