Sloth Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 When the AE86 broke down a couple of weeks/months ago on William Hovel I signed up to NRMA to get it towed (and just so I had the cover in case something else happened in the future). The guy driving the truck that picked me up said they were quite busy in the ACT and had several trucks going flat out 7 days a week (there's always cars on the side of WillamHovel). Quote
daggers57 Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 I would suggest picking up the phone and the yellow pages and calling every tow company in the ACT and pretend that your car has broken down about 50kms from home and get a price. That should give you an idea of what to charge. Do this at night and ask for a price, then say, "wow that's a bit steep, how much if I wait until the morning?". That way you get 2 prices with each call. Done this before with local locksmiths when my mate started his own company, and it worked perfectly. Quote
