i am looking at replacing my k40 with a 5 speed.

 

are there any differences in the gear ratios between the k50 and t50?

You have a 3k or 4k and a k40 box yes? You want 5 speed. Get a k50, unless you have a super hardcore engine or just like raping your gearbox.
