Hey guys just bought a KE55 corolla :D just thought i'd join this forum to see what others have done with theirs and what i can do to mine.

bought this car last week and i like it so much more than i thought haha good fun to drive but its a bit slow for my liking so I'm looking for parts/ ideas to make it go that bit better without having to do an engine conversion but i probs will end up doing that one day but for now ill stick with this motor til i have the money.

 

just a few things about it... its done 204000k's, stock standard performance wise, lowered on 13" splats and overrated condition on the inside 4 spd manual.

just a few spots round the rear window, on one of the tail lights and at the bottom of the drivers door, other than that its overrated as :)

Very nice 55 you have there mate how much lower than standard is it about 2inches all round? Those wheels set the car right off too mate, to make the old 4k? Go abit better throw a set of extractors onto it and a 2inch exhaust, if you wanted to go the distance get a cam (either re grind the one you have in the engine, or buy one from somewhere) put into the car, get a bigger carby for the engine so the cam is actually helping the motor rather than making it a pain in the ass, and you should see a fair improvement in poke for the old girl, cheers Justin

goes much better now coz its turbo'd :) did have the extractors and 2 inch exhaust on it but the motor blew up so now its got a turbo on it haha
