ke20rollin Posted September 25, 2010 Report Share Posted September 25, 2010 i got a fiat diff setup in mine. disc brakes and an added brake booster. stops great and the diff handles the punishment i give all day long. its a strong setup. and light and small. i recommend either fiat or bmw diff. pics below. Will KE70 axles, brakes and centre fit into a ke20 housing? no, ke70 axles are too long, centres different etc. brakes can be modded to fit, but if your going to that trouble you may aswell upgrade to a stronger diff at the same time. i don't know of any strong diffs that are the right length to bolt in. most people usually go borg warner 78, F series or G series toyota. another option to look at would be nissan h190 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MRMOPARMAN Posted September 25, 2010 Report Share Posted September 25, 2010 i recommend either fiat or bmw diff. pics below. that sounds like a good conversion you have made. how much power do those fiat diffs handle, and whats the availability of different gears, lsds etc? did you have to shorten the diff to fit it in the ke2x? oh which bmw diff do you speak of? everything i can think of since the 60's has had irs, and been fairly weak.
