as the title suggests I'm looking into power steering for my ae71 rolla

could i possibly use a power steering rack from an ae86 or would it just be a waste of time and money aswel

Waste of time and money. Ae71's are all ready under powered and power steering will make it worse. They don't have heavy steering anyway.

use a import ae86 rack and get lines made to fit the ca18 pump.

 

or use the whole silvia crossmember, rack, power steering lines, etc(you'll have to use silvia front suspension and brakes as well.)
