demuire Posted September 21, 2005 Author Report Posted September 21, 2005 Umm, I guess mine go into standard mounting points  Quote
Super Jamie Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 depends on control arms but that's easy changed hey, bit of a tangent, but is the extra track from your control arms taken up by the tie rods? Quote
demuire Posted September 21, 2005 Author Report Posted September 21, 2005 huh? What do you mean? And my control arms bolt on to the stock mounting places, does that count? Quote
Super Jamie Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 the control arms are longer than stock, hence if you JUST put the arms in and changed nothing else (no wheel alignment), you'd have massive toe in, yeah? so i'm guessing there's enough thread in the tie rods to adjust that out, so you can have decent steering again Quote
demuire Posted September 21, 2005 Author Report Posted September 21, 2005 Oh. Yes, I'm using stock tie rods etc, so yes there is enough adjustment. Just. Steering knuckles on the back, so without adjustment you get huge toe out, not in. Quote
