out of curiosity with a dodgy turbo setup blow through with a dodgy j pipe does it actually make a decent power increase?

 

Deffinately. With my old CT12 setup (only running 8-10psi) I went from not being able to hold a 2nd gear burnout (when it was NA with a weber) to easily churning 3rd!!!! That setup was a little torque monster though.

 

Honestly I think a draw-through SC setup would probably be cheaper than a blow-through turbo. You don't need to do the same sort of fuel setup (a mechanical pump would do the job, just not ideally), don't need to make a manifold or j-pipe, no water and oil lines, no cooler or BOV, and you can pick up an SC12 or SC14 for around the same coin as a decent T25 or T28.

Really also depends on where you want your power and/or torque.
