Ke70 Parts Are They Still Available

Hi all,

 

Looking at rubbing my KE70 back and replacing all the chrome trim around the top of the door seals fixing up rust then giving her a respray. Having some troubles finding the chrome strips that fit above the doors covering the little dwelling, the triangle vents behind the rear door and also the rear boot badges. Does anyone know if these parts are still available as new or even an ebay copy?

Are you talking about the chrome on the roof gutters?? I haven't got any chrome anywhere else around the doors.

 

I think it will be wreckers yards for any of that trim. The gutter trim is really difficult to work with, but the other stuff is easy enough. Fishing nylon for removng badges stuck on with double-sided tape.

 

I've seen new grilles and bumpers and headlights coming out of the Phillipines, but not body trim.

Yeah thats the one mate didn't know what they were called. Yeah got my old ones off with not much of a problem just figured why there all off I'd get new ones to look the part. Yeah got a couple of badges from the wreckers and there again not to bad but was hopping for new and shinny :)

i have a pair of the black plastic ''vents'' i guess is easiest to describe them,

Have they still got the chrome looking outer trim or are they plain black?
