B.L.Z.BUB Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 Prob one of the dirtiest ksev engines ive seen on here. :laff: :y: for the effort. A lot of people wouldnt bother. Keep it up! Quote
Zaheer Posted January 17, 2011 Author Report Posted January 17, 2011 Initially I was thinking to go with standard piston and same bore but after a detail checkup found that there are few scratches in bore and when we placed "0" size rings in this bore there was gap between ring ends gap was near about 0.3cm. So now re-bored at 0.50 Quote
Zaheer Posted January 17, 2011 Author Report Posted January 17, 2011 @blzbub666 you are absolutely right one of the dirtiest. but reason was crankshaft seal was broken and oil coming out through this. it took lot of time to clean it up app 12-16 hours Quote
Zaheer Posted January 28, 2011 Author Report Posted January 28, 2011 Few more updates. Last week i have purchased another KE70 as a donor for this car. On coming weekend I am going to work on car electrics especially headlights. I am going to install relays to enhance the lousy headlights. few days back found a AC relay box of some Toyota Suv. which really fascinated me so i bought it along with relays but without harness. pictures are on the way of 2nd KE70 and then of relay box. Zaheer Posted April 12, 2011 Author Report Posted April 12, 2011 Hi All, I was out of the town, that's why no updates. well now a days I am ripping it off for paint job. last Sunday seats were off and took out the carpet. Floor was 80% ok but some corners need wielding. I am taking off all the interior stuff from cars cause painters/beaters really ruin these things. especially dash. Quote
abbott Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Looking good mate! Glad to see your putting in lots of effort! That's annoying that panel beaters and painters damage your cars! Quote
