Did any model ke20 come with a strip down the side? Like what Troy had on his ke20?

yes the late ones did i think i had one with side strips at one stage but not sure if it was jap or ami spec ones.

Mine was a late model ami one and it had the strip. I thought it looked great.

 

I'm pretty sure it can still be brought and cut to length to suit any car? The old celica's has the same strip.

My 73 model AMI had one.

Was pulled off whhe i first resprayed it 20 years ago ( yep had it a long time :) )

from what i've seen on cars and in the brochures it was fitted to the SL models. as troy said, you can now get this in rolls, cut it to the length you need and stick it to the car.

shit forgot to check my own thread thats sad. any ideas where i could find the stuff your talking about?
