if so whats required etc.

Need a few minor custom bits.

 

Bellhousing, inlet and exhaust manifolds, mounts, tailshaft, sump and oil pickup, cooling system.

 

Also need a high end aftermarket ECU to control the direct cylinder injection, and someone who can work out how to tune it to make the most of the DCI. Alternatively you can run a stock ecu as long as you can get past the security and other integrated shot that will mke it a nightmare to fit in a different chassis.

 

I'm doing a 2azfe, its quite a custom job, the motor is tall, but very light so its a nice idea to plonk it in there in place of a K motor which isnt much lighter.

with a 4age, the distributor cap being at the back of some motors, how would you change it to the side?

You don't, you cap it off, bin the toyota ecu and use the sensor in the dizzy to check cam position for ignition. This only relates to 20v 4ages, all the 16v models have the dissy at the side.

so its quiet simple and easy.

is there much to cahnge a FWD 4age to RWD?

manifolds, mounts, gearbox, spigot bearing, water fittings, sometimes alternator arrangements depending on how keen you are to copy the ae86 water kit.

 

All these parts are factory bits from toyota so you can just buy it and build it without needing much if any fabrication.
