My gas-less mig is being a pain in the arse. It welds smooth but it's real thin like 1mm thick, turn the wire speed right down and it's good but you have to stop and wait for the metal to cool down so you can carry on welding. I wouldn't recommend one

off, I'm just going to buy a rolla and just chuck a 5k and 5 speed in cheers all again and sorry for wasting ur times :(

 

I don't think you've wasted anyones time, its nice to have to sit down & have a think about a problem to help someone out from time to time. Plus this thread answered a few questions I had of my own so you saved me alot of effort! :y:

when would it be not worth saving a shell from rust... how much rust and when to end a car's life?

Has anyone tryed that rust removal gel . I had a look on you tube and it looks the stuff :y: .
