thats right coln 72 nails or splitpins just cut some flat washers in half

Alloy welding young man and if its a decent shop they should be able to spot face the under the bolt heads to the right thickness. Anyway, what happened to using old nails ect as spacers....... you younguns have no imagination :rolls:

 

used a 4 inch nail held in pliers and heated up on a stove to solder some joints once. Nails, who would have thought they have any place on a car....
