cozza_mane Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 Ok so i've got a manifold for my 4age in my KE55, but the flange suited is t3, i have tdo4l turbo but i don't know what type of flange it is? BMC racing has adapters for them 60 but they don't have post to AUS. And I'm not keen on paying over 100 for a machine shop to make one. If someone knows where i can get one, would be great Quote
Taz_Rx Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 Take the turbo to a laser cutting place. They can then scan the flange of the inlet and cut you one. I did this with an old K ex mani to get a flange made for my turbo manifold and it cost $80, so you'd thing half that for the flange you need. Then either weld it over the existing flange or cut it off and weld the new one on. Quote
cozza_mane Posted March 30, 2011 Author Report Posted March 30, 2011 yeh thats true mate, but welding mild steel to stainless hmmm http://bmcrace.com/t-b-adapter-1/ this is what my mate had in mind. But like i said before the bastards don't ship to aus. Man this is confusing me plus 2 hole in the turbo are blind...argh doing my head in, cause ive got to finish up tech stuff so i can't just make one at work. Quote
