RocksRolla Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 Hey, I've just started to take interest in corollas and I was wondering whether there is any obvious difference between Ae71's and Ke70's. I understand that they have different engines but are there any difference. EG VS and VR commodores have different badges on the front. Any help is appreciated. Quote
Spencer[RL] Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 Have a search around using google and the search box in the top corner will find lots of info in this section. I think I remember a good thread floating around here somewhere. Quote

Sloth Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 KE's have a cable clutch, AEs have a hydraulic. If you are putting a 4a engine (4ac, 4age, 4agte, 4agze etc) into a KE70 you will need the pedalbox etc from an AE71 (lots of posts on here about that sort of stuff). There are some differences between the drivelines of the two (KE70s have the K40 and K50 gearboxes etc wheres I think the AE have T50s?). Quote
