I need to know if my ke70 wagolla has a Borg warner or jap diff to ensure i get the right lowering blocks what are some physically differences I should be able to tell the difference by.

The borg warner has an inspection plate that bolts on from the rear, the jap has a centre that bolts in from the front. The borg warners fit together by interferance I think. There is a tool you use to expand the haousing a few thou to slot it together, wheras the jap style bolts together. I think people refer to the borg style of assembly as a salisbury diff and the jap style as a banjo diff.

Yeh that's a Borg Warner (Salisbury) diff.
