Kezzar Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 I need to know if my ke70 wagolla has a Borg warner or jap diff to ensure i get the right lowering blocks what are some physically differences I should be able to tell the difference by. Cheers fellas. Kerry Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 The borg warner has an inspection plate that bolts on from the rear, the jap has a centre that bolts in from the front. The borg warners fit together by interferance I think. There is a tool you use to expand the haousing a few thou to slot it together, wheras the jap style bolts together. I think people refer to the borg style of assembly as a salisbury diff and the jap style as a banjo diff. Quote
