Jono.C Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 I was having a look around as to what i can do for the brakes on the ke10. Now at this stage i'm looking at t18 struts and brakes and maybe a ta22 diff and drums. Due to limited room in the ke10 i can't see a way to run a booster but people have suggested a pajero master cylinder will be good enough. Can anyone confirm if this'll be true? It'll have a 3tc with about 110rwkw. Any other suggestions would be lush. Cheers Quote
philbey Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 Gc, gd, etc galant master cylinders have the same dimensions bolt to bolt, and there's a couple of diameters available so you can work out the right pedal feel for the slave cylinders. You should have a similar diameter to the brake donor car. Larger diameter will have a shorter stroke but require greater pedal force. Smaller is the opposite. I don't think boosted brakes are necessary in a ke10. Take a look in my rides thread,, there's a pic of my engine bay with a vh44 remote booster mounted to the rhs strut tower. It isn't actually operational since I went with the dellortos, but I've been too lazy to pull it out. Brakes work fine. Quote
