Diff Gears And Tail Shaft Q'S

Hey guys I have a ke70 that was 5 speed now has a 4 speed and it revs like shit at high speed and I'm talking 80 it's doing about 3750 rpm

So I guess 4 speeds have taller diff gears???? I am about to get a 5 speed in a week or so I was just wondering

Now is the tail shaft the same from 4 and 5 speed and clutch??

Yup its all good just chuck it in. It'll all fit.

Wont drop the revs too much, maybe 400rpm (5th).

 

I cruise around the 3800 mark on the highway.

Think you can swap the diff for an auto one maybe? don't hold that to me though.

manual - 4:11

ae71 4ac t50 borgy diff - 3:97:1 is what your after

Make sure its a 70 box not an earlier one.

Different shift position.

 

Rare that it'll be an older one, but I found out the hard way.

Is there an easy way to find out? Like code number on casing or anything?

Sweet thanks mate o how i would have hated my self if I was half way through and realized lol
