I understand what you guys are saying but where I am talking about is actually an overtaking zone and I do not attempt the overtake until I am well out of the corner and the road ahead is clear, I am also talking bout overtaking cars that are going under 80kph in the 80 zone. I didn't mean to make it sound like I was driving like a maniac, I just meant that I needed a run up to be able to overtake on the up hill. I may not have worded it the way I should have and I am quite young so I'm not saying that i don't like the odd bit of "hooning" but thats not what i was trying to portray above. If I ever end up getting another rolla on the road and attend a cruise I can assure you that no such antics will be performed by me. Hope this clears it up a bit...

Good response mate. Sorry for the misunderstanding but unfortunately there's a lot of people some of which are on rollaclub that aren't responsible so personally my instant reaction is to see it badly. And I understand what you mean about run up. I drove my 4 speed gemi through the country and trying to overtake a car going 80 was a mission unless you have 2 minutes of clear road lol!

lachlan: if you had stated that on your intial post, and that it wasnt overtaking on double lines on a blind corner, I personally wouldnt have had that reaction, but I responded to how it read.

 

At least now you've attempted to clarify your intial post, so thats all well and good, we just don't want to see any damaged cars or people in hospital due to the idiocy of hooning on a cruise. :)

The hills is okay, But once you get to Kanmantoo all the roads start to straighten out, Could take it from either top of the freeway i think its crafers or some shit and take the backroads through to bridgewater stirling hahndorf little hampton nairne dawsley and kanmantoo, Theres a big though it is dirt open area to park a heap of the cars on the main road.. Though if wanted could always run all the way to murray bridge and park by the river..

 

I hope we get a monthly cruise. I'm up for this :)

abbott, theres a guy in Summertown ill try get in contact with him, He has about 15 or so corolla's.. always driven them. he is my cousins mate ill try get his number for you so you could get cheap ass parts or for free.. only sad thing is these cars are now Shells with engines.. doesnt have any straight or non rusted out panel on them hahaha
