[email protected] Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 Hi, My daughter has a 1992 Corolla Sedan AE92. I've just installed a new Audio head unit for her birthday but it has no power. The original Fujitsu cassette player had power. A mate suggested that it could be a blown fuse. He asked if the interior (dome) light works because it might share the same fuse. The interior light hasn't worked for a good while. So I thought ... how hard can it be to find a blown fuse? The fuse cover diagram in the kick panel doesn't match the actual fuses installed. There are heaps more fuses in the actual fuse block than shown on the diagram. Does someone out there have a correct and full diagram/list of what fuses are what in this little old rolla? Cheers, Greg Quote
rian Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 Just go through them until you find the blown one, there can't be that many? If it's not that then you must have wired it up wrong. Quote

[email protected] Posted June 22, 2011 Author Report Posted June 22, 2011 Hi, Thanks for your help. I found the Owners Manual and the fuse locations are shown at the back. There is a second fuse box under the bonnet and it is marked clearer. The 'dome' fuse is in there and clearly marked. It was blown. After replacing it I got power to the HU. And now the interior light works again too! Cheers, Greg Quote
