Hey all. Nice again I apologize if this has been posted before.

 

I have a later model KE55 (1980) with the squared headlights and am curious to know if the KE30 or earlier KE55 lights are compatible when te grill is swapped to either model.

 

Are both KE30 and early KE55 lights te same?! Are the grills similar? And will they fit into my model.

 

Any help would be great guys.

 

I haven't sourced these items yet but if they are compatible then I will be buying them so if anyone has these for sale please let me know.

The round headlights will fit on the square headlight front, but you need to chisel off the mounts for the square headlights as they are in the road. So once you do it, you cannot go back to the square ones.

 

Grills are interchangeable, there are two types of round headlight holders though, so you need to get the ones that go with the grill you choose.
