(I'm probably being laughed at now since i posted this again... i can't post the picture on the GENERAL MECHANICAL forum... well, stupid me....)

 

has anyone replaced the gasket on this part of your carb? will silicone work even without opening the back lid of the carb? the mechanic said there's "air" coming out of it...

I replied to this in the KE** section. If you don't want to purchase a whole rebuild kit, then you could buy some gasket paper and cut it to suit.
