Can someone please help me!!

i have an 01 corolla seca ascent AE112R which originally only had central locking via key in door. last xmas i got keyless entry installed by autobarn. just lately it's playing up, only locking when button is pressed, (but locks and unlocks with key in door) i took it back to autobarn to check, and they said the central locking module is stuffed and i need a new one. rang local toyota dealership this morn, they reckon it's some $300 computer, 1 wreckers didn't have a clue what i was talking about, and another said he needed a part number. can someone please tell me what it is i need, and where in the car this is located?

Sure it's the computer in the car and not the aftermarket system? Considering it still works fine with the key in the lock my bet would be on the aftermarket.

If the AE112 is anything like the AE102 then it won't have a seperate central locking computer, rather it will be a part of the Body Control Module (which controls central locking, power windows, security system etc etc).
