hi all. Have a few problems at the moment. I have just bought a windowless ae71 corolla panelvan. The car had a 4age in it, but as it had no motor or box in it when I got it I'm putting the 4ac back in to it. The problem I'm having is it just won't start. Turn the key an nothing. It's a good running motor coz it came out of my AE spirit. Just wondering if it would be because of the 4age that was in it an the wires have been stuffed with. I have also checked everything battery, coil, ignition all that an still nothing. Any help please. Need to get it going real quick as I don't have a car. Thank you

is the starter motor turning over?

is there spark at the plugs?

is there power at the starter motor?

is the motor properly earthed?

its just more info makes it easier to help without seeing the car.
