HYPO55 Posted November 2, 2011 Report Share Posted November 2, 2011 Hey rolla club, Just a quick question i had a person try and steal the ke55 and has destroyed the ignition Is there a way to remove the existing which has the centre pulled out. And how hard are they to replace and whats needed to change barrels. As i can't find anyone selling a bare steering column with ignition and keys to suit. Crostek Posted November 4, 2011 Report Share Posted November 4, 2011 (edited) Hi Joel If you take the plastic covers you with see a small hole on the side of the casting facing the drivers seat about 3mm round. Now the tricky part, you will need to put a key in the barrel and turn the switch to ACC (first position), Push the little button down in the hole and you should be then able to slide/wiggle out the whole key barrel.
