so finally got around to servicing the rolla today. was about 4000kms overdue -_- lol.

new plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor button as well as some of castrols good stuff. runs alot smoother now and idles better as well.

found she was leaking from the dizzy, cam cover seal (front side) and a tiny spot from the sump gasket. not going to bother fixing these because of my pending 4ag swap ;)

bit of an update, work on the car has been slow. been flat chat with work etc. anyhow ive been tossing up the idea of just buying a twink and just keeping this as a daily driver but then again i want to actually complete a build i set out to do for once.

anyways i have got a few new parts for the seca,an ae92 shifter modded to a short shifter and a good window reg.

short shifter and window reg

decided that the car needed a differant look.

also got new tyres today. best buy i could get in this shitfull town were toyo teo tyres. seem to grip nicely and near zero road noise so win win i suppose. grips better that front wheel drive doriftos everywhere lol.

should have the window reg and short shifter in tomorrow then try and decide the future direction of this.

installed the short shifter yesterday. it made a huge differance to the way the car feels to drive. also put in this shifter extension i had which threads onto the shifter to make it longer.

then took my brother in law for a drive to really test these new toyos out. for what i paid for them i expected a lot more grip then what they offer. found it way too easy to get the car sideways round roundabouts etc. in saying that they are grippier than bald tyres haha.

good match. I heard that when you use these colored nuts - the paint goes off after few uses or at least you have to be super easy on them (no bolting on with pneumatic pistol). That true? There are definately nice looking thing.

decided what direction this is going in now so my 4ag and associated peices(vrs kit, trd hg, arp headbolts) are for sale. wont say much at this stage except that if I'm building and swapping a motor, i may as well do it right the first time around!
