4Ag(Z)E Rear Water Housing

Hi all,

 

Just wondering how important the rear water housing is to have on the back of the head (see the link)? its got 2 sensors in it and out let etc. the motor I have doesn't have one on it and I was wondering if I could just blank it off and have the sensors elsewhere?

The wreckers have one but they said the bolts felt like they were going to snap when trying to remove it.

Any help or ideas are appreciated! :thumbsup:
