JSF Posted May 19, 2012 Report Share Posted May 19, 2012 Hey all, Recently my alternator has shit itself, so i need to try and get it fixed; As i haven't ever had problems with Alternators with any of my alternate and previous vehicles i have no idea what to do. My question to you, my friends, is; - Can it be reconditioned? - Are replacement alternators easy to find? - Can you purchase NEW alternators for the 4kc motor? - Is it worth just getting a new engine? - Can it be fixed? Easiest thing to replace ever. If you ask nice and they are local i bet they'd even put it in for you if you ask nice.
