Transmission / Vaccume Questions

My toyota is a 1976 with an auto transmission. It seems to only have 3 usable gears. I am not sure if there is a 4th or not. I am having carb / possibly vaccume issues that I am still sorting out, but I was wondering if that would relate to the transmission at all.

Can you spot any issues?

 

You can see the gear selector has L, 2, and 3. Is this what the 4 speed autos have? or is this a "toyotaglide" 2 speed?

3spd only! it's too early for a 4speed trans.
