well i got the nikki carb on today and it wont idle below about 1800 and even then it runs like crap i adjusted the idle screw and every thing else i could find its like its got a flat spot every where below 1800 rpm... what to do???

hmmm yeah i will fidle a bit more tomorrow and if its still not right i will change it back and kit it

does it have an idle cutoff solenoid, and does it work?

 

otherwise check for a blocked idle jet or blocked idle air bleeds.

yeah solenoid works and is even hooked up and i will take the carbie of tomorrow and put the old one back on while i rebuild the nikki.
