it has been a very long time since i have posted on RC (2009 maybe). my first car was a yellow ke55 hardtop the same as yours with ra23 t series rear end, 3tc, t50, ra23 front end etc. this thread has brought back alot of memorys of good times in that car and crazy ideas in the shed standing next to it. so thank you :y: cheers, Lloyd

spotted seabiscuit in civic a coupla weeks ago and i think it was friday i saw a dark purple ke55 on trx rims parked in manuka

might pop in for a bit but alas i am still corolless :blush:

spotted a nice blue ke30 with big wheels in fyshwick near shell servo a pretty tidy dark green ke36 2 door in hume

yellow ke55 hardtop same as my old one.... made me sad :)

haha that was a bloody good day simon. not really after a 2 door sedan, not a huge fan of the shape, the hard tops are alot more unique. and i miss my old one so i'm hoping i can build another one the same, but better :) cheers, lloyd

ah well i'm not to fussed about it now haha i'll just chuck a 3t in and be done with it, if it gets defected... 3t out 3k in clear defect 3k out 3t in :dance: haha. but it wont be done unless i find a coupe in canberra or some where around it anyway cheers, lloyd

hey guys, i haent been on here in a while, but i am moving to canberra within the next few weeks. i will be needing a car when i'm there and would really love another either ke35 or 55 hardtop. wont be needing one as soon as i get there but soon after i will. it would have to be rego'd and in good condish. so if you guys know of any please let me know as i will be very interested. also could someone please tell me the rules on changing engines and stuff in canberra as i would be pretty interested in putting a 2-3tc with a ra23 diff. i know you guys have yearly roadworthy inspections so yeah. i'm guessing it wouldnt pass with the wrong sort of motor in it. any info would be tops i guess i could make it so i could just chuck the k motor back in it when it comes time to do the inspection again but thas justa a pain. cheers, lloyd

you guy's can't be serious that looks absolutly fu(k!ng hidious the tail lights might look alright without the duck tail and the front spoiler thing might look ok if it had a chrome buper over the top of it. side skirts and flairs are good but everything else is absolutly disgusting imho

so when do i get to see pics? hmmm wish i still had my rolla, but i trust casey will look after it

well the way this is going i should have my licence back by the time anything is organised so count me in for a cruise

i work for a company called bradken resources, i make the moulds for sum big mofo metal castings and also some pretty small ones do alot of work for kenworth and caterpillar, not a bad place to work very dusty and dirty. and can be pretty hot working in a foundry where they are pouring uber hot metal like 10-15 m away from you lol good money though :D
