That's what I run in my "daily". You'll get the hang of them, just like new tyres or any other upgrade. They're the max you can go for sensibility on the stock ecu, really they need a programmable ecu but you can get away with it. Later down the track you can put one in and reap the benefits that have been unlocked. People will whinge at you either way so just do what you want to do and take our advice as info and not gospel.

I was lucky enough to buy a pair of TRD 272, 7.5mm. They don't require a shim and bucket change and can be run on stock springs. Secondhand is always a gamble but turned out to be fine. There are heaps of manufacturers, if you change springs you could get a set with some higher lift.
