November 26, 201213 yr comment_637828 I need to mount my Carb approved Weber to my 2tc manifolt since my kit diddnt come with an adapter, and I can't seem to find one the right size. I can do this in 2 different ways. I can create a spacer out of some 6011 aluminum. I have a stick of .75”x3”x12'. The other way would be using a spare intake I have from a 78 and hogging out the inside where the carb normally bolts to, and inserting a square (that bolts to carb) then welding. Well look at my ridiculous paint diagram and pics. Shaded cut out is of the weber carb's base. The hard way. don't Laugh!: or The spacer: Which way would you do it? And why? Report
November 26, 201213 yr comment_637831 You've got the right idea for neatness. I'd go for option 2 for simplicity. You may still need to machine the original manifold in case any part of it obscures the Webber throats. Report

I would adjust the flow whithin the spacer to keep things flowing smoothly. It would be about 5-7mm or adjusting within the 20mm high spacer. Shouldnt be a problem. Report
November 27, 201213 yr Author comment_637974 I couldnt wait so I started. I chose to make the spacer. Check out my rides post to see (Click down there) \/ Report
November 27, 201213 yr comment_637976 I think a spacer is a good start, you can always try option one if it doesnt work how you want. Report
December 22, 201213 yr Author comment_640779 I forgot about this post. I would buy an adapter but this carb isn’t made anymore. I heard they stopped making them in the early 80’s. I can find Weber adapters, but not for this carb. I just ended up making this: don't mind the one on the left. I just need to put it on now. Report
