Hillbilly Posted December 2, 2012 Report Posted December 2, 2012 Hi my 1975 ke35 has no power to the ignition or horn, headlights, instrument pannel, radio, etc. it was completely fine before i put the engine in (haven't fiddled with the wiring). all the fuses i can find are fine. Could this be why I have no spark? Any help would be appreciated. Quote
rian Posted December 2, 2012 Report Posted December 2, 2012 (edited) Have you got your battery hooked up? Is your battery flat? If you have no power to the ignition (ignition barrel I'm assuming?) then you will have no spark. Make sure you put the earth cables back onto the engine when you put the engine in. Check the fusible links that come off the positive battery terminal. Edited December 2, 2012 by rian Quote
Hillbilly Posted December 2, 2012 Author Report Posted December 2, 2012 Thanks. But the problem was that I am an idiot, disconnected the wire that goes to the ignition. Quote
