back in march last year i bought a ke35 coupe with a 4age in it. it had been sitting in a shed for the last two years. when i got it the master cylinder had ceased and only the rear brakes were working. made it a very interesting drive home.

here are some of the specs on it when i got it

Yellow 77 ke35 coupe (last of the 35's so it has a ke55 dash in it)

AE86 rwd bigport 4age with t50

haltec e6m computer

RA40 front struts with the crossmember dodgy drilled out for more camber.

14X6 super lights

Before i had bought this car i had purchased a set of silver top 20valve quad throttle bodies on a t3 bigport manifold and I was gonna make a manifold to suit k series motor and go all out on one. Any way when i bought this thing i put them on after a 3 months or so of having it. I decided I wanted cams as well so I bought a set of crow 277 degree cams to suit. With the cams and quads it made 75rwkws on a mainline dyno with a ignition break down.

the best thing about it is the noise that it makes either a deep gargle like webbers or it screams pretty damn loud when your right on it.

Also during the time the car was off the road having the cams fitted and waiting for it to be tuned i carpeted out the boot and fitted a sterio to the car and bought the set of coilovers out of slo30's ke38 wagon. When fitting the coil overs i discoverd the mess that some one had made with the crossmember so that got swapped at the same time.

Before doing all the quads and cams i realised it needed a new clutch and the gearbox poped out of third some times, so i bought a gearbox off of a mate and a new excedy hd clutch for it. In the process of doing the clutch the supplier got two wrong clutches and in the end the thrust bearing wrong but thye clutch was right so off to another parts supplier and they had the right thrust bearing. When it came to fitting the tail shaft it didnt fit and i had no idea what was going on. Being a newby to t50's and 4ages i discovered that t50's had two different out put shafts 20 and 22 spline. My original gearbox was a 20spline so the original k series tail shaft fitted when the conversion was originaly done, so down to the wreckers i went and got a AE71 front shaft and swaped the yokes over.

I wasnt a fan of the super lights ever since i got the car and one day looking through the otomoto wheels page i found a set of ssr MK1's in 15X7 +12 pretty cheap so they became mine pretty quick. Once i got them they were sent off to the polishers due to the being rusty around the bolt holes, then fitted with some 195/50R15 Khumo KU31's

other little things i have done to the car is nardi wood grain steering wheel, trd leather shift knob and a fixed back seat.
