The closest to this I have seen is group n historic racing. Cars in this category include Mazda r100, rx2, ke20, ke17, xu1 torana, escorts. Basically you can race anything from late 1960's to 1972 from memory. And the cars are restricted to what they would have had to work with back in that era.

Yep that's right - that's why I am building my race car! Fun and retro at the same time - what more could one want.

 

Gotta say though, not many of us KE17 owners on he track. There's a couple of KE20's going round though.

sure are a few ke20s about. occasionally see one or two out at our local. track. if you know of anyone that has a ke17 that would be good for track use let me know as a good friend of mine really wants one to set up as a group n car.
