4K Dying Out After A Lil Skid

Featured Replies

Okay so

My 4k dies out every time I do the smallest skid

When I open up the engine bay I can't see any fuel in the lines some I suck some trough to get it gaining again but I want to have it working right

I've replaced the fuel lines and filter in the engine bay

Any ideas on what I is

Fuel pump maybe ??

How do I check of the fuel pump is working ??

Upgrade fuel pump ??

Drop the line off and see how fast it dribbles into a can, it might be blocked.

Take the pump apart and check inside. The diaphram might have a hole in it or a valve might have shit under it.

The motor should die under full throttle in 3rd or 4th gear if it is starving of fuel. I'm not sure what stress goes onto it when you're doing a skid.

Oh barely and stress at all just like a tiny clutch kick when I leave a pullover bay in the great ocean road and it doesn't die in 3 or 4

So I should it apart yeah reckon

New pump wouldn't hurt don't think u would need an upgraded pump though.
