Whats the best Carby option for a 4afc engine ?

Been looking at Weber 32/36 but they come in different flavours.

ie - DGV (manual choke), DGEV (electric choke), DGAV (water choke)

Also is it possible to adapt sidedraft trumpets ?

Whats the best setup out of all of them ?

For it to run 100% correctly, the factory carburetor is the best option. DGEV - electric choke would probably be the best bet from those three though.

Do you mean adapt side-draught trumpets to a down-draught carburetor, or do you mean change to side-draught carburetors? Yes you can change to side-draught carbs, although you will need an adapter/custom manifold for them (depending on what type you choose).

The best setup is the one that works & makes YOU happy.

Cheers Carbonboy,

Just started researching Dellorto options now. First I'll get more welding experience under my belt and see how I go with building my new exhaust for my 300zx. Wouldn't mind having a go at making up my own extractors for the rolla. . Think only at that stage I'll have a play with carby options. Would remind me of the good old days of my Datsun 260z twin SU's and no efi :)
