absolutely full of rust, but trying to fix it bit for bit as a PROJECT car.

cost me a full $0.00 so hey, can't complain. but this is it 1984 ke70 sedan Auto :( not for long!

So the blue turd was too far gone to even worry about, so all the interior has came out and panels, and picked up another KE for free!

Heaps cleaner 4sp manual, and have already started transplanting interior and painting/priming before transplanting the bits of panel that are needed.

More photos and updates to come,

Should be ready for a blue slip and motor work in hopefully a month

haha! well done! One for free is good, but two for free is superb!

So, I assume the yellow one will become metalflake blue...

You have two different diff ratios now too, you can run the auto 4.3 instead if the manual's 4.1 for more acceleration, or if you run larger 14 or15" tyres..

Cheers mate! Well it will be blue, but I'm hoping for a fresher more vibrant blue, went and got paint cards to get a rough idea today :)

I'm pretty happy with it, I've been lucky!

Yep, planning on ssr meshies probably 15x8 -0 so auto diff is better?

So major update motor is out aswell as everything in the engine bay, next task to tackle is getting front windscreens out! Can anyone help with info? Or link a thread, as I can't find anything! As I need to swap the headliners over and replace the cracked windscreen

This weeks to do list is, flare the front guards weld the rear guards and missing panels, clean strip and put new parts on the motor, get the flywheel machined, 5sp on the motor, and motor in! All other engine parts will be sandblasted and either polished or painted, engine bay will also get a lick of paint!

Big work and not much time, some snaps of today's progresspost-16899-0-08522600-1382871398_thumb.jpgpost-16899-0-15293800-1382871499_thumb.jpgpost-16899-0-38472500-1382871576_thumb.jpg

So the weekend had some fun involved, the spigot was too tightly in there so had to cut the inner race off to pull the outer race that chewed up way too much time!

But I got everything on the motor and cleaned, I also got the engine bay painted ready for the motor in on Sunday!

So a lot has happened in the last 6 months.

Purchased a POS ke70 sedan for $700 as my daily blew a box back last year, sold it, then brought this wagon!

Done a little, more just to freshen it up, still much to do!

Motor swaps happening tomorrow, nothing cool yet ;) just 4k 5sp

But yeah here she is

Removed all stickers, removed the black door plastics.

Looking for brake upgrade/suspension though. So if anyone can steer me in the right direction it would be much lay appreciated :)
