Hey guys,

Got a Ke55 with stok 4K.

 

It has a problem with acceleration while on primary throat. Its not smooth and jerks around and farts a bit then once the secondaries kick in all good to the redline.

 

I took the carb apart and cleaned it all out, blew out the passages and the jets as much as i could, fitted new float valve, some new gaskets etc.

 

still does it.

Any ideas welcome.

Have you put a timing light on it to confirm the vacuum advance on your distributor is plumbed and working correctly?

set the points gap, and replaced the coil, seems to be a lot better thanks
