Love the attention to detail with this build. I was following it on MCM and an SX Sedan would've been awesome!

Well done, keep the updates coming :)

Oh mad thanks Ben, I'm hoping to take the attention to detail another level with some small touches which should make each bit on the car a bit different. Its been a heap of fun to muck around with and the end product was well worth it :)

After a huge headache dealing with the idler pulley on the p/s belt I ended up getting it to work. I also got around to properly sanding my letters so the surface is spotless now. I also got an intake pipe from the guy that was selling the extractors in echuca. It was a bit long so I needed to cut it down slightly. I am not sure if I am that keen on the blue on the silicone hose (ignore the OEM hose clamp with the 2 circles on the intake, I will change them asap). The intake pipe was sprayed with matt black. I think the overall look is coming up very nicely. The extractors aren't on yet, but once they are it should look even better.

The front end all assembled now. I am hoping the small touch of the red toyota logo on the grille looks alright. I thought it matches the red pinstripes quite well.

A shot of the back end. Definitely needs a new muffler on the rear. I will get this done when I get a 2.25" Cat back system. The great thing with how the car is sitting is that its 140mm off the ground so I don't have issues with ground clearances.

looks great mate, whats next for it?

Thanks mate :)

Good question actually, i'd like to say "LOTS" lol but i'm saving for a house at the moment (been saving for the last 7 years but cars always take money from the funds lol).

I'd like to get new a/c seals, get the system regassed and hopefully get a reasonable stereo in for those days I feel like chilling out.

Reaslistically I could see myself getting a 2.25" cat back system and a high flow cat. I'm hoping a second hand system will come up. Then I can just chuck on my hurricane 4-2-1 extractors and then the fun really starts hehe

After that maybe a mild set of cams and an aftermarket ecu may be added into the mix. Really i'd love a plug and play setup, the less cutting of the loom the better.
